We use Testpad to track all of our testing. It offers the depth and flexibility to model our entire test plan, but remains simple enough that onboarding new testers is effortless. The import and export facilities are really helpful for migrating test plans from other test management tools.

Where do I start?

All accounts start by signing up for the open free trial. The free trial lasts 30 days, includes all features and you can add as many testers to your account as you need. No credit card needed.

What happens at the end of the trial period?

If you haven't upgraded to a paid plan, your account will be 'stuck' on the Subscriptions and Billing page from which you can choose a paid plan to reactivate and continue with your account.

Expired accounts will be kept 'on ice' like this for 6 months, at which point, the account and all its data will be deleted.

Can I upgrade or downgrade on a monthly plan?

Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Monthly plans will be billed at the new rate on the next billing date.

Can I upgrade or downgrade on an annual plan?

You can upgrade an annual plan at any time. Upgrades are handled by making a pro-rated return for the unused months of the existing plan and a pro-rated charge for the remaining months of the new plan.

Annual plans, which are sold at a discount as they represent an annual commitment, cannot be downgraded. However they can be canceled and, after expiry (12 months after they were started), renewed at a lower rate.

How long a contract am I signing up for?

Monthly plans are pay as you go and you can cancel at any time. Annual plans are, well, annual; they can be canceled at any time but you are responsible for any payments you have already made as we don't refund unused months.

How can I pay?

Testpad uses the services of FastSpring for automated payment processing, who accept most major Credit Cards and PayPal.

The custom plan, sold annually in units of 10users/yr, is billed by invoice and payable by bank transfer with 30day payment terms. Contact sales@testpad.com for more information.

What about VAT or sales tax?

All prices exclude VAT or sales tax. If these apply in your region, they will be added to the subscription price and itemised separately on your receipts.

Can I get a refund?

Monthly plans can be simply canceled and we won't charge you again. Unused months of an annual plan are not normally refunded.

Can I get a discount?

The annual rates of the plans represent a saving of at about 16% over the monthly rates. Contact sales@testpad.com if you want to discuss larger plans.

Data Import/Export

You can DIY import using text copy/paste via the Edit Menu / Import option. Or ask us for help and we'll import your tests for you.

Get data out of Testpad by exporting Scripts, Projects or your whole account as CSV files.
